Where did Winter go?
This past weekend sure has been an interesting one, for lack of a better word. It does not seem like the wonderful winter wonderland that it should be, but rather it seems like winter has passed us by and spring is here. There was even an article in the newspaper with a picture of a tree that was starting to bud.. Yesterday there were alot of people in town walking around with T-shirts on, although I can't say as I blame them too much, considering it was 14 degrees out for the day and last night it was 11 degrees. I went to town for a couple of hours last night and there was a little patch of snow on the patio, and whenever I got home at about tenish it was all melted..it was crazy!
Jordan called his parents today and left a quick message on the answering machine saying that he got to bootcamp safely and seems to be doing well, although Mom said he sounded pretty tired, but that's pretty normal with Bootcamp though. He is not going to get as much sleep as he usually does in the remaining weeks left at that place... I am so excited..I can't wait to see him, I just fall more and more in love with that guy every day! Just when I think I don't know how I could love him anymore than I already do,I realize that, Love.. has no bounds..it just keeps flowing, and flowing, and flowing..

It sounds like you're getting a taste of Florida weather a bit early! It's been about 17-celsius here most of the week, which is kind of sad for us, because there's only about a month of "cold" weather (7-celsius) a year here and it's usually in January. I haven't been wearing any of the sweaters I've been knitting all fall in anticipation of the cold! I still have flowers (pansies, since they're cold-hardy) blooming on the patio. Jordan said you'd probably like that a lot. Enjoy your day today sweetie. I can't wait until you get here!
And the Spring weather has come and gone - I don't know about PEI, but Moncton sure does have alot of snow now and it's still snowing and blowing. I guess the January thaw is over :( I was quite excited about it actually!
Miss you!
