Finally after 2 Years!!
So, wait before the Lord. Wait in his stillness....You will know that you are heard; you will know that your Lord ponders the voice of your humble desires; you will hear quiet words spoken to yourself, perhaps to your grateful surprise and refreshment. ~ Amy Carmichael
Just a few minutes ago I went on my run, and made it an endurance run. Wow, what a workout! On Thursday, Jordan and I left here at 6:30am to get to our meeting with The INS. Regarding my green card. Our appointment was at 8:15 which we missed by over an hour, because of construction, and the fact that there was two roundabouts we had to go through, not one! So, needless to say, the appointment that we had scheduledfor us 2 months prior, we missed, so we were getting more and more diheartened, as the minutes went by. Finally after asking a multitude of people for directions and praying the we would still make the appointment, and asking Him to help us trust HIM, we did get there shortly after 9. The security guard asked to see our appointment sheet. We told him we were slightly late.... he told us that if we wanted to wait the officer, who was supposed to see us, might have a minute or two later on in the day, so we began our wait, staring at white walls, a slightly dusty minature statue of liberty, and pictures of people who I dont know...and then we waited some more, observing the people in the office, some getting frustrated with their case taking so long, others finding out that it would take at least least ten years for their brother to come from turkey, becasue of the waiting period... and people studying for their test to become and american citizen. Name after name getting called...most of which they couldnt even pronounce...and then an american last name got called "Spangler".. music to my ears. So we stood up and gathered all of our paperwork together, three photo albums full of pictures with us together, a folder about three inches thick full of proof that we are married, that we live together, phone bills, marriage certificate, leases, rental agreements, paperwork for the truck, birth certificates, passports and so much more, we also took along some letters and emails exchanged between us during our times of seperation( we didnt take them all becasue we could have filled two potato boxes full). With all that gathered in our arms we proceeded to the officers office...and the interview began, have I ever imported drugs to the states? am I a prostitute? have I ever been arrested? am i part of a gang? Am I part of a gang that would try to destroy the States? And a few more of those off the wall questions.... I really had to stiffel my laughter... and then the only thing out of all my paperwork that I had so carefully put together, she wanted to see was Jordans birth certificate... well we did end up getting approved and so went out to Chilies for lunch, which is about 45 minutes away from home. There was shopping malls galore in Cherry Hill, but we just wanted to get out of that "place"....so maybe someday we will drive 2 hours to go shopping, but I know it is Not going to be any time soon. We got our cable hooked up on Firday, and so last night we watched the first episode of Amazing Race, and becasue we have a rewind button on our cable , we got to watch the first episode of Survivor too, commercial free. It was great, all of the commercials were taken out already. Wow where does the time go?!!! I better get ready for work.

Hooray! We're so happy for you -- your patience and trust have indeed been rewarded (and have been greatly admired by many of us all along!). So glad this hurdle is finally behind you. Now onto the next adventure. : )
Love you both!
