lalalalaa...Babe its Cold Outside...
The weather is becoming cool and crisp here, and the thermostat gets a friendly little nudge in the warm direction from me in the mornings now. The leaves around the house turned brown a little earlier on in the month and have been somewhat striped off although there is still some greenery on there too. We have officially begun our Christmas shopping. And thats really all I can say about that..The plan for us right now is that we are going to spend Christmas in New York with Jordans parents. I think it will be alot of fun. We are likely going to drive there because we love driving around in our truck. Things with the foster/adoption process are coming along great. We were just waiting for my paperwork from the Doctor on base, but then we found out she moved to California, and so then I called the Head Doctor supervisor guy and he said he would call me when he had some information about the doctor to pass on to me, but she wasnt going to get there for another week or so, so I went ahead and made another appointment with another doctor for an appointment with her for this friday. But then I came home from work on Friday and the Doctor who moved to California, had called me and left a message with her phone number and so I called back not expecting to get her directly, which I did, and I asked her if she would fill out my doctors form and she said that would be no problem and instead of sending it back via mail she was going to fax it directly to our case worker. Oh Praise the Lord!!! I got to cancel my appointment for this Friday!! So now the next step is to get a letter in the mail from the house inspector with an appointment time on it, he'll come over ask a few questions inspect the house, let us know that day if we have been approved or not, and then he will send an email to the case worker, and as soon as the case worker gets the letter then we could get a phone call at any time!! We will be standing in broad daylight at the end of the tunnel!!! We are both gonig to be so happy when those beds upstairs will have little people in them. We have been praying for those kids already, that are going to be in our home, and if you would keep them in your prayers whenever you think about us, that would really mean alot to me! And it wouldnt hurt to pray for us either, that God would give us the right tools we need for this task that we are going to take. But we know Who goes before us, which is going to make this a lot easier knowing that the kids who will be in this house are supposed to be in this house for a reason. And that they will get all the Love we can give them, which is something that all kids deserve to have!
