They Really need a (KA) Knitters Anonymous...

Hello my dear faithful blogger readers, I am so sorry that this entry has taken so long to get online..but I think it only fair to say that I have become obsessed with knitting that I thought nothing else really mattered that much anymore, until I got a a little side note hind from Hannah, wondering if I had truely fallen of the face of the planet...Im here to tell you nope nothing of the sort has happened! I have been trying for the past couple of weeks to madly whip out knitted Christmas gifts, and with each passing day realized I have one less day to get it all done.On Sunday night though I did take a break and went to the Opera. Phantom of the Opera as a matter of fact. It was most facinating thing I have ever watched. And definetly worth the money we spent on it. I got all dressed up in my Evening Dress, and Jordan put on his suit and looked simply smashing. But he always looks really good anyways! I made sure to take some pictures of us. We were not allowed to take pictures there, but we took some when we got home. I have to review them to decide if they are blog worthy or not. We also put up our Christmas decorations over the weekend too, which I enjoyed alot. The Christmas tree is all up and decorated. We are using the fake one because we are going to be going to Seattle for Christmas thanks to Gramma and Papa. I have not met all of the family on Jordans side yet, but perhaps when we go up there, Ill meet a few more friendly faces. Jordans Mom and Sister came over a couple of weeks ago for thanksgiving and we had the most delightful time ever! Mom cooked thanksgiving dinner and it was wonderful, there was lots of Turkey meals after that dinner. And every dish was delicious. Jordan was also very outnumbered with knitting needles while they were here too. Lots and lots of clicking and measuring to be sure! I have also got my work schedule changed so that I am only working thursdays now and every so often a saturday. Which was kind of a bummer, but at the same time as I have experienced over this week, I was able to whip out a sweater which happens to be the first one I designed all by myself so I hope it fits the person its for!, and I knit pair of socks, so last night I actually didnt have a project on the go so I decided to start another pair of socks becasue the last ones were rather addicting! I have just learned how to make then thanks to my mother-in law (MOM) who is the best knitting teacher on this planet by far! I love Socks! And now I can knit anything!Wahoo! For all you knitters out there, dont be intimidated by socks, they really arent as scary as I thought they were going to be! :) Thats about all the new I have to report so far. We still havent heard anything abouth the foster and adoption so please keep that in your prayers, we really appreciate that alot! And hopefully Ill have more news soon!!!
