The First Day of the Rest of Our Lives!
I am on again.. Jordan left yesterday to go on the "Dependable" a 210 Coast Gaurd Cutter, for two months.. we both are missing Daddy alot, but we are writing on here so that he will know what is going on with us everyday, and show him pictures of Micaiah as he grows up in the next two months. Yesterday was the toughest day for me. I drove Jordan to the boat and kept on kissing him, and then had to reluctantly let him go,we watched him walk onto the boat until we could'nt see him anymore and then we went home. Micaiah slept for a few hours and that was really nice. He hasnt really slept much since though. And between him and the cat.... agh.. lets just say it hasnt been my best sleep ever. The cat drove me more nuts than anything else so I let him out at 5:30 this morning, fed Micaiah and then went back to bed again. At 6:30 somewhere in my sleep I heard him meowing from outside, but I figured that since he wanted to go outside that he could just stay out there. then when I did go to get him at 7:30 he was MIA..
Today went alot better than yesterday. The TV kept me occupied and things off of my mind most of the day, but I will admit that I cried a few times, but for the most part, I am done, and am moving on, I cleaned the house today, and did some laundry too! Next week I am going to repaint the living room and then will eagerly await the day after Thanksgiving.. then I am going to decorate the house for Christmas!!! I m really excited about that!!! Hopefully Daddy will email us soon so that we can hear about how things are going on the boat and in which direction he headed..and ofcourse I really want to hear about how exciting his trip is. I am so happy for him that he got a job on the boat. He just happened to be at the right place at the right time! And we found out last friday that he got the opportunity to go. I am really excited for him, because he will have the chance to get a higher rank now. Well hopefully we will hear from him soon so that I can let you all know. I better get going, Micaiah is hungry and is crying out for me. We love you Daddy! And all of you faithful readers out there, we love you too!!! Oh and by the way, the cat came back about an hour later, just incase you were concerned about him!

Hey Dianna!
So great to hear an update from you, but a tough go for both you and Jordan. I will be praying for you guys over the next two months, but it's encouraging to hear you so excited for him, and that you're keeping yourself busy (I'm sure Micaiah is helping with that too! ;) )
Hang in there, girl!

You have to put a new song on your blog. Well, not really new, just not used for a while. Remember: Here without you"? I'm sure things will go better after a few days. By the time you get into a new routine, it won't be long and you will be together again.
Do you here from Jordan once in a while or how does that work?
All the best, love you three, DAD
Hi Sweet Girl of mine, I can completely understand how you're feeling right now. When the kids were babies Dad was gone all the time and there just became two worlds that we lived in: One with and one without Daddy. You make the best of both and that's what adds up to a very special life for all of you.
You're a wonderful and strong woman of God, and you will bless Jordan by being so strong while he's gone. It's much easier for him to do his job when he knows that all is well at home. It's not easy, but it's what's required of us as military wives and moms.
I'm so proud of you, and I love you more than you'll ever know.
Kisses to that baby of mine!
Mommy
Hey!
How are the home improvements going? things here are peachy... as you can read on my blog. haha. I hope things go good with you and that you have a good time even though Jordan isnt there. At least he picked a busy time to be gone and before you know it will be Christmas. Yipee! haha I love you lots, have a good week!
Love Amanda
What an exciting adventure!!! It's so neat to see where God opens doors...not always the easy way but...that's just His way, eh? The silver lining is that we'll get to see waaaaaaaay more of your world on here, and I'm sooo excited!!!
Hope your painting goes well are you choosing an adventuresome colour?? Can't wait to see the pics!!
Hang in there girl!
Talk to you soon, Love Tante Tetcy
Hi Dianna! and Jordan! and little Micaiah!
I was talking about you today. It's a small world. Our church just hired a new secretary last week. I went in to meet her today and she told me she knew you and that you were in her wedding. It's Penny Carew. Neat, eh? She's excited to see you at Christmas. She's seems like a real nice woman. I'm glad :) -- I'm down at the church office all the time.
What an opportunity for Jordan! Praise God! However, not so great for you. I'm sure you'll miss him terribly but it sounds like you have plenty to keep you busy. I love decorating. What color are you painting? We need to see pictures. :) I also love putting out all the Christmas decorations. I'm waiting til Dec. 1st.
What a great way to keep in touch with Jordan and we get to benefit from it too. Love to hear about your life's happenings Dianna. We love you, Tante Karen
D!!! You are doing such an amazing job taking care of Micaiah and the cat and the house while Jordan is gone. The time will fly by and before you know it you'll be heading back up to PEI and Jordan will be there and you'll all be together again at Christmas.
We've got another week and a half left here (already!) and head to Turkey...on Turkey Day, actually. :) Then home for Christams on the 20th of next month.
You sound like you're doing pretty well...hang in there and keep strong! Micaiah has the best Mommy in the world. Remember that!
I love you and my little Bean so much! Kisses all around!
Sounds like you are doing fine, and always remember that you are never alone. God is beside you every step of the way, just put your hand in His . Have a great day,
Love MOM.
