My Addiction....

Terribly sorry I have not posted lately! I have been pretty busy with alot of stuff....i dont know exactly what, but I know that before I know it, my day is over again....Between doctors appoinments, planning meetings, preparing for meetings, teaching explorer s, planning family nights, going to church, cooking and whatever else, Jordan Micaiah and I have been pretty busy! And in my free time I havent been on the computer, except to check if its my turn on Scrabulous yet! Its such fun by the way, ladies! I thought that before the month is over I better check in a minute and write a "brief" blog, we'll see where that take me! So like I said, lately the computer has been off the TV has been off and Jordan and I have been snuggling on the couch together with our nose in our books! I am so addicted to reading its not funny. Last night Jordan was so tired that he was in bed by 9 and I had just started a book and I said Id be up in a few minutes. I should have said hours instead. 109 pages later and a clock that said 11:00 I had to force myself to go to bed, it was so hard to put down my book! Its one of my favorites I think, and that I am reading it again, is definetly saying something about how good the book is. The book by the way is called "The Princess" by Lori Wick, one of my absolute favorite authors, I only have a few chapters left, and I am already itching to get back to it, but it makes it so much better to have to wait for it! Although truthully that wont be too much longer! Miciah is doing really great. I took him back to the doctor to check up on his ear infection and he still had it, so they put him on a stronger antibiotic. His routine is becoming somewhat normal again, and he is starting to sleep good again. Part of that has to do with his teething I think. He is the most pleasent well behaved baby ever, and the old ladies at church just love him so much. Every week they say, my goodness he is getting so big, and he is such a good baby, I didnt hear him at all during the service! I swell with pride whenever I hear that! The dasy have been warm and cold here and there, yesterday was a pretty nice day and we spent close to an hour on the swings at the playground infront of our house! Micaiah just loves being outside! He is really starting to get around now. He never stops rolling until he rolls into something and cant go anymore, he is kicking his feet against the floor and can scoot himself around a little bit, Jordan and I are convinced that before too long we are going to be chasing the little dude around the house. The daffodiles are coming up now and there was a bunch of crocuses in the yard that were very cheerfully waving their yellow heads in the sun. A sure sign of spring! Last wednesday though we had a nice little snow fall that accumulated about an inch of snow tops, and the salt truck and snow plows were out full force.. Ive just learned to roll my eyes and chuckle over the whole matter! I wonder how people from NJ would handle the roads in PEI...that would be a sight to see! Hope you all have a good day! I am going to go get the mail now and then warm up my place in the couch again and curl up and read my book. I am almost done and when I finish it I am going to work on the hat I am making for Micaiah right now. I am making it so that itll cover his ears good! I'll post a pictures of the hansome boy ing it when I finish it! Love Dianna

I'm from the island and I can't believe the roads around here. Guess I've been gone too long!! They're very bumpy and there isn't even any snow! 8)

Sounds like you are very busy! I love that feeling of being in a good book, and then savouring the ending by getting all the work around the house done before you let yourself finish. Whatta woman!!!

I love the little old ladies at my church too.
Can't wait to see that hat on your little man! Love ya, TT

Sounds like you are busy. No sign of wildflowers here yet. More snow on the way for tomorrow.
Looking forward to another picture of my favorite grandson.

Oh, there you are. I figured you were pretty busy with the wee tike so you couldn't get on blogging. I too enjoy our Scrabulous games Dianna. Hint, hint Amanda. Where are you? :)
You sound like me. People ask me what I do all day. I don't seem to have an answer but the days seem busy and just seem to fly. I love to read too. I just finished a series about MailOrder brides that your Mom lent me. "Faith", "Hope" and "June". You have probably read them. Very entertaining. I will stay up to all hours of the night to get to the end of a book if I'm reading at night. During the day, I make myself do the dishes or one more load of laundry or vacuum before I pick up a book or I know I'm sunk. Marten will be home for supper before I know it and "OH, you want supper tonight? Oops."
We're having fondue tonight with the whole gang to celebrate the fact that Tetcy's here. It brings back fond memories of having you join us for Marten's birthday fondue party. We'll think of you tonight.
Take care of your rolly polly and enjoy your springtime crocuses. Til later, I love you, Tante Karen

yeah, you should come by if you can. I just finished your blanket last night. Let me know if you guys have a free weekend, but don't over if you can't afford it. The blanket isn't going anywhere :P
Appreciate you boys whenever you can - they both love to hear it (even if Micaiah can't understand it yet)
love you!
