Ah..what a day..

Yesterday it was very gloomy outside and, it was raining all day long. It felt like it was turning into spring with all that lovely rain. Today however, although it still feels like spring is right around the corner, the weather took a turn, and that beautiful warm sun was out all day long.. it was wonderful. I love the sun! Today is Friday..the day this house gets cleaned from top to bottom. Every Friday, this happens and today was no exception. So after two hours of combined effort from everyone (mostly) the job was done. I went to town today and took Rebecca with me. She is the fifth in the line of my siblings. We went to the fabric store, and with her help, I picked out a whole bunch of summery material for a quilt that I am going to make for the master bed in our new home. And I thought, what better time to do it than when I am in Florida. And who better to make the quilt with than my mom...I havent asked her yet, but I am positive that she would love to help me. I thought it would be something nice to give Jordan whenever we move into our first home, on the Coastgaurd Base. All the material I got have a Hawaiian theme to them somewhatish. I got a 1/4 meter of each fabric and I paid $8.00 for three meters of fabric all together with an assortment of 12 different patterens on the material...so in other words, I got 12 different pieces of material for $8.00 all together... I am excited about it and can't wait to get it started. I apologize that this entry is so short, but there isnt much to tell, unless you really want me to get into the itty gritty, and tell you what I all cleaned. But Frankly, cleaning is cleaning...

So great that you're making a quilt! It sounds like it will be really pretty with the hawaiian theme - I bet jordan will love it, a really nice thing for your new house! You'll have to post a picture when it's done okay?
Love,
Bec

I can't wait to start your quilt with you, my darling daughter Dianna! Hawaiian style quilts are very cheerful, just like you! I can't wait to see you in just a few weeks!
