Im going to Melt...
Wow...this is going to be an intersting blog..worthy of a read..
First off, I am finally in the States! My paper work is all done, and I can really, really live here now! And in four weeks, that are going to go by really fast..I am going to see Jordan. The first letter that I read when I got here, he sounded rather discouraged because as of the 22nd of january he still had not recieved anything from me..the poor little guy..but the next letter that I got stated that he had recieved seven, but didnt want to read them all incase I didnt write him anymore after that..he doesnt know I have written him every single day since he left..it will be a pleasent surprise for him! Now on to me.
I said goodbye to everyone, and boareded the plane with a mixture of emotions, I didnt want to say good bye to all of my family..I love you guys all by the way, and I miss you...but I knew the time had come, and so I got on the plane, and I left. My little travelling buddy to Montreal, was a Japanese man who slept the entire way to Montreal...he wasnt very talkative at all...so I took the opportunity and I wrote in Jordans journal most of the time, I had about a week to catch up on. When we got to Montreal it was nuts, but thankfully I didnt have to go to another part of the airport, I picked up my really heavy suitcases at the customs and immigration, and waited in line to be admitted to the States, I gave the guy the envelope full of imformation..about me I guess, I wasnt allowed to open the envelope or I would have, but yeah, so he told me I had to follow him to an office. I had to fill out an I-94 form, and wait for my turn...my watch just kept ticking the minutes away, and to be honest when I had half an hour left to board my plane, I was starting to freak out a little, and then two women came in and asked me which flight I was on and I told them the one to Orlando, and they both looked at eachother and they said to eachother I probablly would not make it on the plane in time...I didnt give up though, I was detirmined to make it, and then the guy who was processing my paperwork finished and with a big smile told me I was done..Well I booted it out of there, and there was a huge line up and mobs of people, waiting to put there luggage on the belt, and the Lord, just led me right through all those people, and then the lady who had come in earlier recognized me, and then told me to follow her, so I got to follow her right through all the people, and then I dropped of my suitcase and duffle and followed her right to the security area, and I zipped through there and I ran all the way to the gate, with a heavy backpack no less. There was a group of five guys that were on the same flight as me, and they went through with the lady so I just followed them, but when I realized that they were not going to make it going as slow as they were, I just went on myself, and a full fledged marathon down the halls. I had to stop for a second to catch my breath, and those guys also happened to catch up to me, and so then it felt like I was in the amazing race, and I ran, I raced them all the way to Gate 83..I think I almost fainted form lack of not eating all day yet! But I had no time. I got there and realized that the plane had not even started boarding yet, and wasnt leaving for another twenty minutes...Oh well, so I sat down and waited. God sure does havea sense of humor dont you think! Well on my little long walk to the airplane, was when I met Marcia and her husband. She noticed my TMI backpack and asked me when I went, and she told me that she had gone on TMI in 1989. So we talked all the way to the airplane. Well I got on the plane, and would'nt you know, God being who he is and How Amazing and Funny He is, had sat us all in the same row beside eachother! So Marcia and me talked for another 3 hours. She is such a great lady! And I hope that we are going to keep in contact. She is so nice. Well then I had to wait for in Orlando for 2 hours...so I put on my CD, and walked around, checked my flight information , walked around, checked my flights, walked around and checked my flight information at least another dozen times...While I was waiting, there were three soldiers who must have just come from Iraq or something. One of them went over and hugged his Mom and Dad, who were both crying and then he hugged his wife, and they kissed and hugged... I think is also pregnant too, but it was wonderful to see that reunion, it almost made me cry..i did mist a bit though. It was also a nice reminder that Jordan and I are not the only ones going through a long time of seperation. On my flight to Orlando I sat beside a man. He was good travelling buddy too. He was in the Navy Boot Camp 23 years ago, and he was telling me what boot camp was like from his perspective, and told me some pretty funny stories too. I finally made it to Florida at 3:30 and I was getting pretty hungry by then. Mom was there to meet me and we hugged and it was really really nice to see her. She took me out to eat at a place called Panera. It has all kinds of homemade breads and soups and salads, annd it was so good. Then we went to the mall right beside it, and didnt stay there for very long, because we both had never been there before, and so we went to Target instead, what a great store. Its almost like IKEA, except its the next best thing. They had all kinds of clothes, and house stuff, and all kinds of stuff. Then we went to Micheals right beside it and we looked at all the craft stuff, and the scrapbooking stuff. I bought something at the Micheals in PEI that was like 20 dollars cheaper here, but I just tol myself it was because it was off the exchange rate...it was a little depressing though. Wel then we went to Dillards because we were looking for flipflops for me because I didnt really want to wear my big furry boots here. It was so humid last night, and it was really hot. I was almost like a culture shock...almost. Well, we found some at Dillards and they are simply wonderful to have. We then went to Starbucks and got some drinks. I had this brambleberry juice that tastes just like a brambleberry pie crust and icecream included..except its in liquid form. We also figured sinc we were celebrating we would get some cake too, so mom got a piece of lemon cake , and I had a piece of a toffee almond square, that tasted exactly like a Tim Hortons white chocolate chip macadamea nut cookie..yummy! It was delicious! Well then we went to the Christian Book Store and got some books. Mom bought me the next two books in the series of the series I was reading at home. I was absolutely spoiled yesterday! It was really nice though. Well after driving for an hour or so..whatever it was..there really is nothing but trees all over the place here...we got home. I also saw 2 deer. Well then I saw Dad and gave him a big hug, and we brought the luggage in and then after a bit of talking called it a night. Sleep overtook me before hit the pillow, ad I woke up at 5;00 this morning..because there is afterall a two hour time difference here. This morning I woke up completely refreshed, Mom and Dad both had to go to work today, so me and Natalie(the chiwawa) have been keeping eachother company for the day.She is sleeping in my lap right now. I also got to unpack this morning, and am completely settled in now. So that was my yesterday and today in a nutshell. The next thing I am going to do is writing my wonderful adoring husband..

Hello there you!!
Im so happy that we can keep in touch this way!! Its great. I am unbelievably happy for you that you are finally one step closer to seeing that husband of yours!! And I love how he will soon know that you have been writing him everyday! That will be a happy day indeed.
God is so funny! he gave you a little taste of what it would be like to be on The Amazing Race, which I think you would be amazing!! And awesome that he lead you through all of those people. I think that is my biggest fear... lots of people, and not really knowing where to go. But God is so in control, we can never be lost!
Nice that you got a little bit spoiled too!! I think you deserved it after participating in a leg of the Amazing race! i mean come on!

Enjoy your few weeks until Jordan comes home! they will fly by! Im praying for you guys!!
