Mom, Dont forget the Dish...
Wow! What a week!! I can't believe how fast life seems to fly by! It is so great to be here with Mom and Dad, and chill.. It is really peaceful here and there is not a thing to complain about, well with the exception of cool weather here. There was ice on the bird baths this morning...brr..It feels like a cool fall day in spring on PEI, and I am very glad after all that I did bring my nice warm winter boots...
There is a really pretty pond that I walk to everyday with Natalie..Its really peaceful and serene there, and it is the perfect place to spend time with the Lord. God is so good. I think it is finally sinking in that the paperwrok is all done, and that I am indeed in the same country as Jordan.
Jordan is doing very well at boot camp. He is actually one of the two unit leaders, which marches 42 of the recruits. he was pretty excited about that little "promotion". The night before last, Dad took Mom and me out to eat at a Japanese resturaunt for Valentines Day. It was a really good first experience in the Japanese food department! Dad also told me all about sushi... I however, must say I was not quite brave enough to taste it..maybe someday I will. Last night we went to the next door neighbors place, and went to their Mardi Gras party. Mom and me were the most dressed up for the ocassion, we sported many ancient delicate beads, and each wore a mask, mine made me look like a peacock, and mom had a purple feathery one...except for I dont know what kind of bird she was supposed to be, but she sure did look cute in hers! It was alot of fun, BBQ chicken, corn, crawfish, shrimp, potatoes, salad, and lots of chocolate! and Mudpie, which I made earlier in the day. The food was soo good! I also am slowly getting to know the other military wives, which nice....soo that has kind of been my week in a nutshell....If you could just keep Jordan and me in your prayers, I sure would appreciate that alot! Only 19 more days!!!

Dianna and Jordan,
So glad that you arrived in the states in time for valentines day. Did you know Julie and I share the same love of the "hearts" day? Enjoy this time getting to know them better, and establish some strong bonds of trust. That is my prayer for you in your time of waiting for Jordan. Grow, trust, love patience, perservere, and above all prayer. We will continue to pray for you and Jordan.
Nicole' Paul, and Matthew
Oh my, you've given in to the "blog" phenomenon. Do you know that All I had to do was type your name into google and your's was the first site on the list? Oh no! I wonder what "dirty" secrets of mine will pop up if I put my name in the blank? (Guess what I'll be doing as soon as this post is completed...hahaha)Oh, and just so you know, I set up my own space at the beginning of last year and I choose a similar background. Good taste!
Anyway, it was good to talk to you the other day. I'm glad that you're doing good. Hopefully I'll talk to you again soon dear sister. For now, "tot tiens"
