Maybe...

Things here are starting to get back to the way they were before the last few busy weeks we had. Jordan has left, and is gone to Norfolk, Virginia, where he will be starting "A School" (the Academy) next Monday. He is very eager to start that. He got to Norfolk safely and in one piece. Until he starts classes, he is just keeping busy by keeping things clean around there. It is nothing like Boot Camp where he had to be up at 5am and the day wasnt over until 10:30 pm. At A school he gets up at 7:30 and then is finished with his cleaning at 3:30 and doesnt have to report back to work until 7:30 the next morning. The weather in Virginia is cooler than it is in Florida, which really is no big surprise. So that is basically what Jordan is up to lately and keeping himself busy with. I on the other hand am in a completely different boat. It was a little easier to say goodbye to Jordan this time, knowing that I was going to see Jordan in 3 months, with a possible visit up somewhere in between. It was also comforting to know that we are both in the United States now,and knowing that there is only three states between us makes a pretty big difference too. We also got cell phones, so we can call eachother anywhere, anytime, and it will be free because of the plan that we got. The day after Jordan left for Virginia, I started my new part time job working at a yarn shop. It is a very cute little yarn shop called the "Yarn Garden" and when there are no customers, I just sit down and knit for the day. I have only worked two days, but I absolutely love my job! I only work one day this week, but next week I get to work two days, so I am very stoked about that! I am not very good at being able to help customers with yarn selections yet, but I am learning so much everyday, that Im sure in no time I will get the hang of it. I do write up alot of reciepts which is something I really enjoy alot. But I think that the best part is, is that I get to work with Mom, because she works there too.. And being around her never gets boring... I also had to drive for the first time the other day..that was an experience in itself, it was one straight stretch from church to work, but still, if you have never driven on double sided roads on both sides before, well there is definetly much to be said about that...but thats all I have to say on that subject for today. Yesterday, Mom and me watched half of the first season of LOST...thats a pretty addictive show, you never know whats gonig on, but then when it does come on you think "maybe this time there will be something in the show to shed light on things" ... alas there never is, but you kind of cant not watch it either, because maybe this time...maybe... maybe you will find out who the others are....

I've been there! It's a lovely shop, and you'll be a great addition to it. I'm sure Julie can teach you a lot about customer service -- has she told you what her mission was when she worked at Target in El Paso? Ask her if she hasn't....

Glad you all had a good visit while J. was home. Hope we can see you this summer somehow!

Love you!
