The Weekend...

Sorry I didnt get a chance to update over the weekend, but somebody thought they would pull an all nighter, and not give me any sleep on Friday night...so we spent part of the day Saturday driving around, and ended up going to Mays Landing, to get some more special bottles for him. He slept on most of the drive, but did wake up, so I fed him a bottle, and then we went to Wal-Mart, which was absolute chaos as it always seems to be on a Saturday...so we made the trip in and out as fast as we could. We went out with a box of diapers and some more bottles. Then we drove all the way back home again, and stopped at the grocery store and picked up some more fruit and vegetables for Xavier. So he will be a happy guy for about another two weeks or so. He ended up sleeping for about 4 hours and so did Jordan and I. It seems like whenever the baby sleeps, I try to get some sleep too. Yesterday at church, all the old ladies fell in love with Xavier, and they keep saying that what we are doing is just such a wonderful thing. Everyone wants to hold the baby, which suprising enough to me, was OK with me, it gave my arms that break they needed. Today he has been here for a week already, and its time to start making some changes with him. He is really used to being held like 24/7 , so I am going to start weaning him off being held so much, because holding that baby all day long is absolutely exhausting for me, and he needs to get used to being on the floor, and getting strong. Develpomentally he is only 4-5 months old, and is just learning to turn over, so I am going to focus on working on his arms and legs, making them strong, and getting him to learnt to play on the floor by imself with his toys. I may sound kind of mean, but it really is for his own good. Plus when he has his "down time" then I can get some housework done, or cook supper, or whatever. So right now he is in bed for his moring nap sleeping, and looking as cute as bug.++

What a cute baby you have there. It's nice to finaly see him. I'm glad you guys are getting some sleep. Quite an adjustment, isn't it? How are you holding up, other then not getting enough sleep?
Still tired? All the best, and we love you guys, Mom and Dad.
